What AfroTech taught us about making Coordn8 simpler
Feedback at AfroTech is helping us simplify Coordn8. Our new launch target is January 1, 2027.
Coordn8 is a community-based street-parking app designed to help New Yorkers spend less time figuring out where to park.
At AfroTech, we spoke with founders, investors and product leaders. One lesson kept coming back: simplicity is key.
Focus on the first useful moment
We need to be clear about who we serve first. A driver should be able to enter a destination and understand nearby street information without a walkthrough.
We’re simplifying onboarding, putting the controls each driver uses most within reach, and making street details easier to read. We’ll test those changes with NYC drivers before treating them as improvements.
Our new launch target
We’re moving our launch target from December 15 to January 1, 2027, to give us more time to simplify and test the experience.
